Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Connovo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

Connovo strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Accessibility Features

Navigation & Structure

  • Semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists) for screen reader navigation.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation for all interactive elements.
  • Skip navigation links on pages with complex layouts.
  • Consistent and predictable navigation patterns across the platform.

Visual Design

  • Color contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA standards (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Information is not conveyed by color alone — icons and text labels supplement color indicators.
  • Responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.

Forms & Interactive Elements

  • All form fields have associated labels and clear error messages.
  • ARIA attributes on custom components (dropdowns, modals, tabs).
  • Focus management for modal dialogs and dynamic content updates.
  • Sufficient touch target sizes for mobile users.

AI Interview Accessibility

  • Text-based interview format accessible to screen readers.
  • No time limits on individual responses (candidates can take as long as needed per question).
  • Accommodation request options presented before the interview begins.
  • Clear, plain-language instructions throughout the interview process.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address the following:

  • Some data visualization charts on the analytics dashboard may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide text-based data alternatives.
  • PDF documents generated by the platform may have limited accessibility. We are working on improving PDF output.

Interview Accommodations

If you need accommodations for the AI screening interview, you can request them at the start of your interview session. Available accommodations include:

  • Extended response time
  • Text-only simplified interface
  • Alternative interview format
  • Language support (English and Spanish)

For accommodations not listed above, please contact the hiring district directly. Under the ADA, districts are required to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified candidates with disabilities.
